MEET YOUR COACH- TOM WILKINS
MY BACKSTORY
Over the duration of 4 years I have clocked up over 6,000+ hours coaching 1-1 clients on the gym floor. This invaluable hands-on experience has allowed me to master the proven strategies that work to get my clients to their goal efficiently. My ultimate goal as a coach is to help as many people as possible worldwide, therefore my transition to online coaching is to be able to facilitate this, as the impact is unfortunately capped with 1-1 coaching.

Fitness has always been a massive passion of mine. From 5 years old I was playing football and I played at a high level right up until it was time for me to venture to University.
In 2016 I took a massive leap and left my small hometown (Enniskillen) in Northern Ireland to move to Newcastle upon Tyne. Moving to a big city was very overwhelming - trying to find my way around and meet new people were both top of my priority list. This pressure saw me fall out of football and my fitness journey took a massive backseat altogether. I drastically fell into some very bad habits which were detrimental to my health and wellbeing, leading to a downward spiral.

This was before I was introduced to the gym by one of my friends. The rest is history. I fell in love with the process. The process of physical betterment. Not only that, but how it transformed my mindset and rubbed off onto all other areas of my life. I became obsessed with seeing results and the feeling of constant improvement.

So much so, I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. The gym pulled me out of a massive rut I was stuck in. From this point, I saw firsthand what the gym can do and I wanted others to experience this to allow them to take back control of their life. I knew there were other people out there in the same boat I was and I could positively impact their lives and many others around the world.

NO LIMITS
After some years of training I realised the gym taught me invaluable qualities that rubbed off onto other areas of my life - the discipline, the consistency, the progress tracking and the long term gratification. All of these qualities are priceless.
It taught me that reward comes from discomfort. Those last few reps that no one wants to do because they hurt - this is where I thrived. I love these situations because I know no one else wants to be in them.

This is when I knew I had a PASSION for pushing my limits and seeing how far I could push my body to unleash my true potential. I believe as a society we do not realise how capable we are as human beings. Life is made so comfortable these days and there are so many distractions preventing us from realising what we are truly capable of.

​
This is when I fell in love with MINDSET and SELF DEVELOPMENT. Pushing myself past what I thought was possible and other people's set limitations of me. I am a massive believer that we can do whatever we want if we set our mind to it.
Since adopting this mindset I have completed:
-
100 push ups every hour for 24 hours.
-
Running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours.
-
Competed in 2 x bodybuilding shows.
-
Completed 2 x photoshoots in the gym.
-
Had a boxing fight.
-
I am currently training for a 100 mile Ultramarathon.
I will continue to lead from the front, inspire others and push my boundaries to the extreme to show everyone what we can do.

QUALIFICATIONS
In 2019, I graduated from Northumbria University with a first class BA(Hons) Degree in Sport, Exercise and Nutrition. Soon after I graduated I completed my Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Training qualifications. After completing University and my PT Qualifications I was deeply inspired to continue educating myself to ensure my clients have the highest level of service possible that goes far beyond the usual industry standards.
This has seen me invest over £10k of my own money into two Mentorship programmes with industry leaders to help propel my knowledge and experience further.
This has pointed me towards an endless pursuit of excellence. I will always continue to invest in myself and my continuous education to demand the most out of myself and those around me.
